The new Rear View Mirror Camera is a product that the private investigator or bail enforcement might be useful. This is actually a system of two cameras. Here are my top five choices.
1) Casio Exilim EX-Z750 Digital Camera Review DP

We have had this camera for only 6 months but love it! We have had no trouble with it until I dropped in on the hardwood floor today. Being my fault, I can’t complain about it. Since the one we have is now getting repaired, I went ahead and ordered another one because we need it for vacation. It is super easy to use and we get 8X10 pictures made all the time and they look great! You can print up to 16X20 and still get a good quality. Easy, you can crop on the touchscree which is great. It’s small and easy to handle/use. Clear pictures. I love it over the Canon Powershot we were using.

Far from the Best – LakeHMM – Los Angeles
This isn’t that great of a camera. The touch-screen barely works. You have to press it a million times for it to MAYBE recognize what you’re trying to click. Another really annoying thing is that you can’t get pictures off the camera the same way you can with every other digital camera. They make you use their awful Nikon Transfer software, which doesn’t even recognize the camera when I plug it in, which means I can’t get anything off of the camera. Look elsewhere.

This seems to be a very nice compact camera. There are many settings for the user to choose from. The navigation is good. The LCD screen is bright and large. However, the pictures are awful.
Several of the settings are useless. Fireworks, for example, has such a long exposure time, that you need a tripod for it to get a crisp picture. And this thing is tiny, so it would look ridiculous on any tripod, even a gorilla pod. Any night pictures are hideous and grainy. Adding digital zoom makes things awful. And the while balance is very off.
I should have kept my old cannon, as it took much better pictures.

The camera takes very average pictures. The touch screen is confusing. And when the camera broke, after 4 months of minimal use, Nikon said the warranty did not apply. Stay away from this product! I will never buy a Nikon product again. I should have stuck with the Kodak reccomendations.

If you’re looking for a case that provides maximum protection for your pocket camera, or has room for accessories, this isn’t the case for you. If you’re looking for a case that fits the camera like a glove, and is easy to carry around, than the Lowepro Varia fits the bill. Made of neoprene fabric, the Varia is thin and lightweight. It is also smaller than expected, and my Panasonic TZ series camera barely squeezes into it. But the Varia stretches, and I can get the camera into it. Protection is minimal. It will protect from scratches and minor bumps only, but that is exactly what I bought it for. I can still put the camera in my pocket with it in the case. If your camera is small enough, you can probably squeeze an extra memory card or battery in the case too, but don’t expect it to fit much at all. For around , I’m happy with the Lowepro Varia. It makes carrying my camera around easy, without a bulky case, and provides a little bit of protection.
